Summer Farm Camps

Farm Camps at Seton Harvest provide children ages 6 to 10 the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and experience firsthand how fresh, naturally grown fruit and vegetables are produced. Campers are involved with the daily routine of farm chores: planting, tending, harvesting, preparing, and consuming nutrient-dense food.

Campers are physically active by playing group games, hiking, and exploring nature. They are engaged in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math)-inspired activities such as observation, data collection, mapping, orienting, drawing, and handicrafts. Farm Camps are designed to increase children's ecological knowledge, demonstrate humanity's dependence on healthy environments, and inspire attachment and care for our common home in southwest Indiana.

HELP US MAKE FARM CAMPS ACCESSIBLE TO MORE CHILDREN!

Your tax-exempt donation makes Farm Camp affordable for families who cannot afford the full price.

The most significant barriers that keep children and your people from engaging with nature include the cost of outdoor activities and transportation. This particularly true for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. With your support, Seton Harvest offers eligible families the opportunity to send their children to Farm Camp to experience firsthand how fresh fruits and vegetables are produced on a 26-acre farm. Children will plant, tend, harvest, prepare and consume nutrient-dense food. They will be physically active (e.g. group games, hiking and exploring nature) and engaged in observational and creative activities. This unforgettable experience will have a long-term impact on their lives.

Your tax-deductible support makes a difference! It is an investment for the future: every amount helps!
